The Mohawk, ADK, and Northern RR are having problems about snowmobiles on the tracks.
Apparently, people are riding on the tracks or the right of ways.

With the amount of snow we have, the packed snow could cause a derailment.
There are some clubs in the County that have permission to cross the tracks but the problem is people are riding along them also and it needs to stop now.
The largest problem is in the Marcy areas, but there have been people on the CSX tracks as well.

They wanted this taken to NYSSA, but lets take care of it here, first.

The State Police and the Sheriff have been notified and anyone caught will be arrested for trespassing.

Please get the word out to all of our fellow snowmobiler to stay off of them and to only cross where permitted to do so.
If it continues the permits will be voided.
